Enclosed is my resume for consideration of the SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT position

During the past years, I have performed successfully in MATERIALS, PROGRAM MANAGEMENT, and OPERATIONS areas. The development of technical and administrative skills is demonstrated by continued advancement to positions of greater responsibility. I have established technical competence in the foundation sciences that support modern Materials Management and systems.

My background has given me experience with Supply Chain Management and “World Class” Manufacturing environment, Forecasting, Planning, Purchasing, Supplier selection, and Customer Service. This includes supplier performance improvement, cost reduction, Just In Time (JIT), time phased parts procurement, inventory control and cycle counting programs. These environments have caused me to launch and instruct computerized systems for Procurement, Master Scheduling, Bill of Materials, Enterprise Resource Planning (MRP II / ERP) and Shop Floor Control.

Familiar and involved with the following types of contracts: Supplier Agreements, Supplier Kanbans, Subcontractors, Material Consignment / Vendor Management Inventory (VMI), Freight Carrier, License Agreements, Tooling, Software Development, and Engineering / Consulting Services.

I have experience with the establishment, development, and training of Total Quality Control (TQC), Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Analysis and Process Line Balancing, and new product production (NPI) and End-of-Life (EOL) cycles. I prepare and monitor programs, Milestone Schedules, Budgetary and status overviews, and variance reports and resolutions.

Further, very familiar with the International atmosphere, both Customers and Suppliers, including in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Germany, France, Brazil and Mexico. Major customers: Rockwell International, GTE Sylvania, General Motors, Audi, Volkswagen, Motorola, CISCO, Intermec, Garmin, Boeing, Honeywell, Intel, Texas Instruments, Siemens, Toshiba, Fujitsu, and Samsung.

Brief note: The reason why I no longer work for past companies were due to their movement out of the local area because of economic conditions or “outsourcing” (Pulse to S. California, Novellus to N. California, Suntron to Arizona and WaferTech to China). I was offered re-location options, but, declined since I desire to remain in the Northwest at this time.

I am a strong hands-on strategic individual and would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills and background could contribute to your company's objectives and goals. I would be an asset to any company because of my strong organizational, project leadership, experience, and creative skills.

Sincerely,

Paul Reid
