Academic Project:
Line monitoring system using FPGA
Line monitoring system using FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) is a project in which a 3-phase (three individual single phases) supply is given to three different loads. If any one phase fails, the load supplied by that phase is also supplied by other two phases along with their loads. When two phases fails, then also all the three loads will be supplied by the remaining single phase supply. Thus the sharing of load is done automatically. The FPGA device senses the dead and alive phases and gives the essential control signals. A suitable relay is placed between each phase and load, and also in between different loads. The occurrence of power interruption can be negglected using this project.
