Microsoft (Microsoft’s Consulting Services), Redmond, WA, 1999 to 2004
Position: User Experience & Design Consultant
Hired to be part of the User Experience practice to design strategic custom multi-channel (Pocket PC, Tablet PC, Smart Phones, etc) e-business solutions for a variety of clients. Clients included: Pfizer, Wachovia Bank, Verizon and AT&T Wireless.
• Designed a multi-channel (Pocket PC and portal) healthcare solution to network all physicians and patients’ updates on Pfizer's drug products and to more effectively manage their clinical trials, leveraging Microsoft's .Net platform and MSN services.
• Successfully won the Wachovia account over IBM for a new call center application, estimated cost for front-end design alone at $750,000. Designed their next generation desktop call center application for Wachovia Bank’s 15 customer access centers in the US, resulting in tremendous product pull through for MS.
• Designed Microsoft’s Knowledge Management System into an enterprise level portal that strategically aligned with the services engagement lifecycle and delivered a application to be leveraged by the field consultants, product groups and partners.

Managed and art directed a team of designers and developers to create compelling weekly and monthly news reports that would complement the magazine. In addition, Art directed and managed the production of Time’s interactive kiosk exhibit called “Faces of Time: 75 Years of Time’s Best Covers,” for the National Portrait Gallery at the Smithsonian Museum.
