SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Electronic Engineering Technologist with a wide range of training including circuit design and analysis, assembling level programming, digital and analog signal processing, basic networking, and over 1000 hours of electronics laboratory training. Worked as an electronics and physics lab faculty assistant. Well trained with lab bench equipment and highly skilled in circuit testing, analysis, and troubleshooting. Worked as a member of several teams; most recently in the completion of a senior project. Well rounded in Microsoft DOS/Windows desktop operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science: Electronic Engineering Technology February 2008
DeVry University - Federal Way, WA
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
SENIOR PROJECT
• Designed and implemented an Underwater Remote Operated Vehicle (UROV) as part of a senior project team. The UROV was built for applications such as underwater cinematography and underwater surveillance and included:
• Designing and implementing a motor controlled propulsion system.
• Designing and implementing a video capture and a lighting system.
• Designing and implementing several sensory systems including an Infrared proximity detection system, an accelerometer based tilt detection system, and a leak detection system.
OTHER PROJECTS
• Interfaced the Pulse Width Modulated output signal of an accelerometer with an HC11 microcontroller (Motorola Assembly Language) in order to build a “g” meter.
• Designed and implemented an RF transmitter and filter system that was used to transmit the signal from a guitar as well as control signal used to turn guitar effect pedals on and off.
• Worked with a teammate to design and implement a digital security system using a CPLD.
• Worked with a teammate to design and implement a digital thermometer using an LM34 temperature sensor.
