Employment History:
Legerity Inc. /Zarlink Semiconductor November 2005 – December 2007 Associate Engineer. Aerotek (Contractor Legerity Inc.) February 2005 – November 2005. My responsibilities included creating schematic layouts using Orcad Schematic Capture. Designing the board layout and building components using Cadence Allegro 15.7. Lab responsibilities included testing and troubleshooting boards. PCI line cards, TIDs, and various daughter boards are types of boards that I have done.
Kelly Engineering Services (Contractor Tyco Printed Circuit Group) May 2004 – July 2004. Printed Circuit Board Designer. Responsibilities were creating schematic layouts using Orcad Schematic Capture. Designing the board layout and building components using Cadence Allegro 15.1.
Freedom Power Systems – Electrical Engineer, Sept. 2003 – Dec. 2003 Layout of power
supply boards using PCAD. I also assisted in the production area with board assembly.
Tyco Electronics Printed Circuit Group - (Design Group) Electrical Technician, October 1999 – Sept. 2003 Designed schematics for various customers using OrCad Schematic Capture. Printed Circuit Board Designer- Created schematic layouts, specifically back-planes, using Cadence Allegro. I began with the creation of components such as through-hole and surface mount parts with reference to IPC-2221 and other IPC references. Also, I worked with mechanical designers in order to establish the ICD drawings. Next, routing the board with specific design rules and creating the fabrication drawing of detailed notes and instructions if necessary. Provide a Bill of Material and assembly drawing for the actual build of the board. Once the assembly was complete, I probed the board with a digital multi- meter and sometimes used an o’scope for functionality. (Production Department) Electrical technician- built software test fixtures using Magic Suite and supported the Electrical Test area (bare boards). Duties within the plant were to support process engineering. In Final test area made sure processes and procedures were followed. All boards had to be functional before going to the Q.A. area. To troubleshoot these boards we used Everett Charles 9090 tester and flying probe machine.
Freedom Power Systems - Electronics Technician, April 1999 - October 1999.
Tested and troubleshot analog power supplies. Also, worked with communication and computer automated power supplies.
Aerotek Telecommunication Services - Service Technician, September 1998 - March 1999.
Contracted with Nextel Wireless: Repaired damaged Cellular phones for walk-in customers. I also, installed base units for radio usage.
Mintel Communication - Installation Technician, November 1997 - July 1998.
I assisted in pulling telephone and Ethernet cables from the phone and data closets to the desktop. I maintained phone and data services throughout our customer’s request.
