I have been in Manufacturing Management primarily in the Automotive Industry for the past 10 years. During that time I have served in the capacities from Production Supervisor to Plant Superintendent producing Metal Stampings and Welded Sub- Assemblies for the Automotive Industry. As Plant Superintendent, I have had charge of entire Plant Operations on off shifts encompassing Assembly, Stamping, Shipping, and all Support Departments which consisted of 50 to 80 direct and indirect associates.

During my time in Automotive Manufacturing, I have gained working knowledge in all aspects of Lean Manufacturing: Kan Ban, Kaizen, 5-S, Continuous Process Improvement, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Standardized Work. Involved in new project launches and new equipment and tooling acquisitions. I also have working knowledge of TS16949. Am well versed in Problem Solving and Troubleshooting. Am highly skilled in production planning.

Served as 2nd shift Plant Superintendant over entire Plant Operations producing Metal Stampings and Welded Assemblies and Sub Assemblies for the Automotive Industry consisting of the following departments: Stamping, Assembly, Shipping, Maintenance, and Tool and Die. Moved to 1st shift as Supervisor over Welded Assemblies and Sub Assemblies.

3rd shift supervisor responsible for producing quality injected foam products for the automotive and consumer products industry. As third shift was a new shift, put together very effective and productive team. Also, improved overall housekeeping and employee moral and productivity.

 2004 to 2006 Served as 2nd Shift Superintendent with the responsibility of two plants that included stamping, assembly and shipping. Personnel managed was four supervisors, Tool and Die , Maintenance, QC and 60 production technicians. Monitored and assigned direct and indirect labor to stay within budget. Redesigned work cells to increase productivity with less manpower. Ensured that productivity , quality standards , and reduction of scrap being met through daily tracking. Implemented downtime reduction and cost saving measures to increase productivity and reduce labor cost. Performed human relations duties which included hiring supervisors , employee counseling, performance reviews, and employee meetings.
