• Bar Code System Project Lead. Responsible for researching vendors, developing the RFP, negotiating, making the final recommendation, and flawlessly implementing the system in 30% less time than planned and with 25% more testing than supplier recommended.

• Set up a wireless Access Point with Bar Coding using RTDCS software and TL ASHFORD bar-coding software to interface with the BPCS Inventory module; Managed and maintained the company’s order entry, inventory and shipping systems

• Successfully setup the AS400 and the security for the company; upgraded AS400 in 48 hours without losing a single order; Successfully managed consolidation of equipment and data to single facility without loss of single part or customer order

• Responsible for installing and maintaining all company personal computers, laptops, network and phone system; Set up and maintained a fleet of company PDA’s and cell phones

• Installed and programmed new phone system; Successfully upgraded PBX phone system to IP IP Office phone system including VoIP linking manufacturing, and sales to increase order process efficiency

• Installed, set up, and maintained network using Windows 2003 Server; Created and maintained custom interface using VPN for authorized users to access the system from outside the company

• Supported and modified the BPCS ERP on an AS400 system including designing business critical executive reports for order taking, customer information, shipping, budgeting, and financial forecasting; Supported the BPCS modules of MRP, SFC, GL, ACP, ACR, INV, CST, SYS, etc.

• Operated the Help Desk for the Order Entry System, Microsoft® Office Suite, and ACCESS; Designed and delivered Company-wide Custom End-User Training

• Modified BPCS modules including MRP/MFS and inventory control, Shop floor control, General Ledger, Account Receivables & Payables to make BPCS 2.1 Y2K compliant; Customized the BPCS Physical Inventory to accommodate the Internal Audit requests.
