BRITISH TELECOM is one of the world's leading Telecom services,with

subsidiaries that conduct business across the globe. This project

involved in integrating and processing the data coming from different

divisions/source systems related to Customer record, contract record,

service level agreement record, contract services record, sites records and

finally inventory element records.

Used Informatica as ETL tool to extract data from source system to target

Data Warehouse.

Analyzing the existing data from the Legacy system, cleansing it and

transforming the data to Flat file's as per the business rules provided.

Worked with informatica Manager for importing Metadata from Repository

Used most of the stages like Change-Capture,Modify, Lookup, Slowly

changing Dimension, Filter. Sort in modifying the jobs already developed to

improve the performance and to meet the requirements.

Troubleshoot the Designed jobs using the informatica Debugger.

Project Description:

Deluxe Corporation is a Financial Organization in US and Canada which has

products like Paper cheques, Electronic cheques, ATM and small business for

the Banks and Organizations. The data warehouse maintains the client

information like Client Name, Client Address and the details about which

programs the client has been enrolled.

Responsibilities:

Worked on Power Center client tools like Source Analyzer, Warehouse

Designer, Mapping Designer, Mapplet Designer and Transformations Developer.

Used most of the transformations such as the Source Qualifier, Expression,

Aggregator, Connected & unconnected lookups, Filter, Router, Sequence

Generator, Sorter, Joiner, and Update Strategy.

Used Workflow manager for Workflow and Session Management, database

connection management and Scheduling of jobs to be run in the batch

process.

Developed shell scripts, PL/SQL procedures for creating/dropping of table

and indexes of performance for pre and post session management.

Imported data from various Sources transformed and loaded into Data

Warehouse Targets using Informatica.
