05/09 to Present “Kellogg-Brown and Root (KBR)” Houston, TX: Electrical Field Engineer/Designer
• Skikda LNG – Skikda Algeria. On site field engineering support to assist construction in Skikda Algeria. Provide resolution for RFI’s (request for information) from construction. Wiring diagrams, Schematics, Cable Tray, SWA Cable installation, Underground Duct Banks etc. as needed.
01/09 to 05/09 “Bechtel Corporation” Houston TX; Electrical Lead Designer
• Queensland Australia Curtis Island LNG, FEED Stage II package. IEC and Australian Standards utilized. Class 1, Zones IIA and IIB area classification. Develop Design Basis, Substation Equipment Layouts, Oneline Diagrams, Schematics, and Standard Details. Scheduling and Manpower loading, tracking of deliverables, supervision and coordination within disciplines.
01/07 to 01/09 “Foster-Wheeler USA Corp” – Houston, TX; Electrical Lead Designer
• Sinclair Delayed Coker Project Tulsa OK., Supervision, leadership, mentorship, technical coordination, checking, oneline and schematic development. Oversee all design activities.
• Supervisory role providing technical guidance, leadership and organization to drive 12 man electrical group for electrical-instrumentation cable tray system installation for the Reliance Refinery, Delayed Coker II, in Jamnagar India. Duties include coordination with offsite 10 man electrical group.
08/06 to 01/07 “WorleyParsons” – Aiken, SC; Electrical Principal Designer.
• Duties include schematics for 460V three phase motors, VFD,s, lighting, power distribution, raceway and grounding using Microstation 2D, for Salt Waste Processing Facility at Savannah River Site. GE Multilin 469 motor protection relays for medium voltage applications.
09/05 to 07/06 "Shaw, Stone and Webster" – Centennial, CO; Sr. Electrical Designer/Checker
• Duties performed include design and checking of schematics, wiring diagrams and conduit installation drawings for a new Scrubber Unit in an existing Combined Cycle Power Plant. Other duties include creation of overall system block diagram, review of vendor documents, i.e. Soot Blowers, Water Cannons, Hydrojets and Water Lances associated with the Boiler. Also assisted in the development of schematics for 9900 HP Motors, (ID Fans) at 13.8kV, 2500HP Motors (Absorber Recycle Pumps) at 4.16kV and various low voltage, (460V) small horsepower motors in conjunction with the Flue Gas Desulfurization process. Microstation utilized for drawing revisions.

• "Dow Chemical" Seadrift TX Operations. On-site lead Electrical Design Engineer. Focus on the installation of low-voltage, 480V Three Phase Motor Control Centers, (MCC’s) and and Switchgear for Power Distribution. 69KV Ring Bus Substation Upgrade. Design of Lighting Systems at 480/277V, 208/120V and 240/120V levels. Installation of Dry-Type and Power Transformers, Low-Medium Voltage Three Phase AC Motors, Variable Frequency Drives, UPS Systems, Lighting and Grounding Systems, Feeders, Cable Tray and Raceway Systems, all per NEC and Dow Chemical Global Standard Details.
01/03 to 07/03 “MEI Engineering” Cove Point, MD; Sr. Electrical Designer
• On-site Electrical Design Supervisor for small electrical design team. Duties included installing new feeders, aboveground and underground to new Switchgear and MCC’s, both 4160V and 480V, to include creating/updating Motor Control Schematics. HID Lighting Systems (point to point calculations), equipment arrangements, UPS Systems, raceway and underground duct bank systems. Performed detailed checking of packages prior to client review

• Coordinate and supervise group design and construction effort for multiple, small capitol projects, for operating refinery in Class I, Division I and Division II Groups C, D and B. Group lead for all deliverables to include Low-Medium Voltage Power Distribution, Raceway, Underground Duct Banks, Cable Tray, Wiring Diagrams and Schematics for 460V and 4160V motors, Detailing, Heat Tracing, Construction Coordination, Field Inspections and close client and vendor interface. Principle duties also include mentorship, leadership and career development of junior level designers.
7/99 to 3/00 “Hemlock Semiconductor Engineering” – Hemlock, MI. - Sr. Electrical Designer.
• Design of low-medium voltage power distribution for operating chemical plant in Class I, Division I and Division II. Addition of MOV’s, 460V 3-phase motors, lighting and client-owned high-voltage outdoor (utility-type) substation, 230KV system. Installation of large power transformers at 84MVA, underground duct bank, 35KV, motor operated disconnects, circuit breakers, CCVT’s, PT’s, CT’s, insulators, tubular copper bussing and fuse link cutouts. Installation of pole-line type transformers for low-voltage distribution. Substation grounding techniques per IEEE 80. Design in accordance with NESC and ANSI for safety and spacing criteria.
9/98 to 3/99 “DOW Chemical Company” – Houston, TX. – Electrical Designer and Checker.
• Design of lighting for chemical plant in Class I, Division II. Design of medium and low voltage cable tray systems. Design or underground duct bank for process instrumentation and power feeders. Design of communications systems.
1/98 to 9/98 “BHP Engineering” – Corpus Christi, TX. – Sr. Electrical Designer.
• Design of Fisher Provox DCS for refinery process instrumentation in various refineries, Class I, Division I and Division II. Layout of instrument field junction boxes and control room marshalling cabinets. Design of conduit and cable tray for multipair homerun cables, I/O card layouts and all interconnection wiring diagrams and loops associated with analog and discreet devices, i.e. transmitters, switches, transducers, solenoid, thermocouples etc’s.
