Challenging opportunity as PBX Operator

Summary:

Highly experienced on PBX phone systems providing programming and system evaluations. Comprehensive and cost-effective installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of voice and data communication systems. Experience on the Dimension 2000 systems and Definity Systems.

Communication Knowledge:

Dimension 2000 PBX Telephone System, Avaya Lucent Technology Definity System, Integrated Voice Communication System (IVCS) AN/STC-2 Terminal Maintenance. Fiber Optics Maintenance Technician.

Experience:

AN/WTC-3 AT&T Dimension 200 PBX Telephone Systems, Class C1

Performs organizational maintenance on the Dimension 2000 system. Initiates diagnostic via a Maintenance and Administrative Panel (MAAP). Analyzes MAAP displays and localizes faults to a circuit packs. Employs electronic troubleshooting techniques beyond the circuit pack level. Performs telephone operator functions in port at an attendant’s console.

Avaya Lucent Technology Definity System

Perform organizational maintenance and repairs on the Definity System. Initiates programming on phones set up wake up calls and night time ringing.. Disable and enable various call features on phones. Handle the incoming and outgoing of calls to certain phones. Troubleshot the repairs of the systems software. Made repairs to terminals and terminal connections.

Integrated Voice Communication System (IVCS) AN/STC-2 Terminal Maintenance

Performs organizational level maintenance on and operates the IVCS System and associated peripheral equipment installed in the system. Knowledge includes microprocessor, programming, interfacing techniques for a 6800 Micro Processing Unit, and troubleshooting of various phone terminals in the systems.

Fiber Optics Maintenance Technician

High knowledge and skills required to perform mechanical repairs to fiber optic cable interconnection systems. Installed on naval ships and stations. Knowledge of test equipment and rules for repairs. Perform splicing, connectorization and testing on the fiber optic cable.

US Navy: Petty Officer First Class Interior Communications

Responsibilities included: Trained and supervised over 20 personnel. Maintain all the interior communications on the ship including power distribution, telephone, intercom, alarm, safety and warning, and ship control and navigations system. Operated and maintain the ships closed circuit television system providing entertainment for the ship’s crew. Provide customer service to various department on the ship, dealing with phone lines, cable TV and alarm and intercom system. 2000-Present
