The company which could easily boast of a world wide network of fleet that performs logistics services including couriers services, parcel services etc across the globe, also ranks high in its employment capabilities. The company is based out of Germany with their networks spread across several countries around the world.

The CORPORATE Intranet was a web based application developed to primarily meet the social networking needs of the Logistics firm DHL.

Based on user needs and requirements, we had modified and enhanced the application code to match ever rising challenges faced by user.

As a team, we’ve worked on an SLA to provide round the clock application technical and functional support, in addition to application enhancements or new functionalities across the several components that make up the COPORATE Intranet – key of them being the WCMS (the Web content management system), the Reporting Functionality integrated with the Application – managed using the Reporting tool COGNOS

Client Description DPWN (Deutsche Post World Net) group has four main divisions - Mail, Express, Logistics and Global Business Services. Deutsche Post Fleet GmbH and Deutsche Post IT Services GmbH (DPITS) belongs to Global Business Services (GBS) division of DPWN. Current Fleet Management System handles all the vehicles owned or leased by DPWN in Germany, Luxemburg and Switzerland. The existing application Fleet Management version 3.4 (FM 3.4) would be replaced by the newly developed Application FMS 1.0 using J2EE technology

Project Description There are several bundled applications in the AZ Momentum Bundle. I support for a couple of the critical applications like COSMOS and COMPIS, which are used by over 1500 users daily.

COSMOS is a web based J2EE application that uses a plethora of other interfacing technologies like the Java Webservices, IBM MQ Series, Java Messaging API, JAXB concepts, Java Mail etc. The daily support operations in COSMOS are primarily remediation work for any issues faced by Chemists who use the COSMOS web application on the daily basis. In addition to this, Code fixes, Operational Change requests, Problem investigations, Service enhancements are other responsibilities to be undertaken as and when required.
