• Designed product components in CAD. Sheet metal parts with flat pattern layouts, plastic molded parts, fasteners, labels, water lines, wiring and assembly drawings that include the bill of material.

• Made necessary design changes to existing components.

• Handled all of the drafting/design responsibilities for the product line I was responsible for including :

• Creating and maintaining fully constrained 3D CAD assembly models of the finished product.

• Loading the bill of material structure into the ERP system for standard water cooler models and different variations of those models via the ECR/ECN Process.

• Using the 3D CAD assemblies to determine rough-in height dimensions for field installation instructions. Also, worked directly with lab personnel to verify these dimensions.

• Create the product Owner’s manuals using graphical views generated from the 3D CAD assembly models. (Different views, breakout views, hidden parts, exploded views, etc.)

• Assisting to oversee pilot run activity for new product pre-production runs on both day shift and night shift.

• I handled the design aspects for all custom modification orders for the product lines I was responsible for including determining what changes need to take place to components parts to meet the customer requests and documenting these changes.

• Assisted in determining course to resolve corrective actions.

• Provided 2D & 3D CAD layout work for various product dimensional studies.

• Provided component graphic views and dimensions to be used to produce Operational Method Sheet manufacturing documentation. Worked directly with manufacturing personnel assigned to create the documentation.
