Senior Process Engineer
SLT Engineering International is main engineering subcontractor of the south pars phases
15/16 offshore development project. The project consists of two wellhead platforms SPD15A
and SPD16. Each wellhead has 15 slots. Producing gas and condensate are routed via 32"
pipeline to onshore facilities in Assaluyeh. Each platform consists of preliminary free water
separation units, flares and closed drain network and required utility production facilities. The
detail design work scope is carried out at SLTE's Tehran office. I am involving in most of
delineated process tasks such as:
• Detail design and selection of equipments for offshore well-head gas production.
• Generating process documents such as Equipment sizing calculation, Process Design
Basis, Process datasheets, General philosophy for Isolation, shutdown and draining,
Emergency shutdown and Depressurizing philosophy and etc.
• Generating engineering drawing, PFD and P&ID development for offshore production.
• Checking on equipment package's documents and drawings for vendor selection, final
clarification and approval for construction and etc….
• Preparing documents for tender proposals.

South Pars Gas Project - Phases 4&5
Process Engineer
The design capacity of the project is to treat the sour gas of 2000MMSFCD, produce 80000
Bbl of stabilized condensate, 2000 tons/day of propane, 1200 tons/day of butane and 400
tons/day of Granulated Sulfur and 2 Platforms gas production (SPD 5&6).
I have been working as process engineer in Process Engineering Department.
My main activities as a part of a team were:
• Present a methodology to back allocate of Platforms gas production to individual wells
• Investigation about shutdown causes and effects that happen during normal operation of
plant
• Monitoring and control quality of plant products such as Export Gas, Condensate, LPG,
Ethane and Sulfur or plant equipment and units in order to have smooth production
• Study and investigation about requested modifications in the plant from process
engineering point of view
• Contacting/coordination with vendors/licensors whenever performance of a
unit/equipment is disturbed or in any other required case
• Making the whole plant material balances in order to accurately calculate plant feed,
products, flaring, and losses and then preparing daily and monthly production reports,
which should be dispatched to the upper management
• Involved in development of computer software package capable of performing the
material balances and calculations fully automatically, which included:
o Extracting raw DCS plant data of the inlets, outlets, flaring and products streams
of all units by the use of Plant Information Management System (PIMS)
o Compensation calculation of stream flow rates by pressure and temperature
correction affecting the density
o Flaring/losses calculation based on pressure control valves opening by the use of
curve fitting technique, which was performed section by section
o Simultaneous comparison of calculated values with existing design data and
make direct link to laboratory program for using the results in calculation.
o Making daily and monthly report template for reporting to Management or using in
operation and engineering departments to know about daily plant product situation
o Making proper graphs and trends for monitoring and giving clear view about the
products quality, storage, pumpable stock and comparing with plant commitment
program
o Developing a calculation method with macro via the Excel software
