Project Work:

Modeling and Simulation of Airfoil Shape Windmill Blade

Software’s used: 1. SOLID WORKS: - Used for modeling of windmill blade of airfoil shape.

2. ANSYS-11 Workbench: - For simulation of modeled blade.

Summary of Project: - In simulation part we have done two types of analysis: First is Static analysis that consists of EQUIVALENT VONMISES Stress and second is Dynamic Analysis which consists of (Total Deformation at 5 different modes). We have considered 5 different types of materials for the analysis of various factors i.e. wind-pressure, wind-speed, length of blade etc. and the results were compared in terms of stress and total deformation to select the best material for blade.

Project Conclusion: CFRP material was found suitable at lower frequencies whereas GFRP material was found suitable at higher frequencies for the design of Airfoil shape blade.

Case Study:

Study and Maintenance of TOWER CAR RADIATOR (used in Indian railways).

Summary of Project: I had studied about Tower Car and its Radiator, types of radiators, and the various factors that can lead to the damage of radiators. Based upon our study finally we have modeled one tower car radiator maintenance workshop layout.

Industrial management:- In this seminar what I have presented is how to manage various resources in the industry. How to save electricity, how to utilize raw materials, man, machine, money etc. In-order to minimize the cost of production and to maximize the industry profits.

Lean Manufacturing: - “A systematic approach to identify and eliminating waste through Continuous improvement, flowing the product at the pull of the customer in pursuit of perfection.” Lean is team based continuous process for the maximization of company resources. It is a typical approach to cost reduction.
