Project Manager in charge of overseeing the annual delivery order contract for the Florida State College at Jacksonville. Responsibilities include all duties necessary to run a satellite office. Job title included office manager, project manager and superintendent.
1/05 – 9/06 Lincoln Property Company of Florida, Orlando, FL
Assistant Property Manager for a commercial property management firm with buildings located across Florida. I was in charge of day to day activities for class A buildings located in downtown Orlando and Coral Gables. Activities included tenant and vendor contract management, due diligence, oversee capital improvements, research and implement new state of the art building maintenance practices and training for new property maintenance staff.
1/02 – 7/04 Gator Textbooks Inc, Gainesville, FL
Assistant Manager of the independent college bookstore in charge of overseeing shipping, receiving, stock inventory, purchasing, book buyback and cashier. This was one of my favorite jobs that gave me the time to read textbooks for classes that were on my course outline for future semesters, meet and discuss course material with professors, and converse with a wide range of students from the University of Florida.
5/01 – 8/01 Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund, Orlando FL
I was the risk management intern for the summer in charge of the due diligence on the files from a satellite office run by a former employee that was caught embezzling company funds. Duties included creating a filing system for more than two dozen boxes of documents, cataloging correspondence, and reviewing legal contracts from the business.
