Key Projects:
a) Project Description: BBRC Informatics portfolio delivery: IDBS Biobook.
Responsibilities:
Undergone Biobook KT training through weekly Telecon sessions with BMS US Informatics
team.
Identified list of experiments with their priority order from Biology department for which
Biobook template needs to be developed.
Understanding the workflow of the experiment from the scientists.
Developing the Biobook template based on the protocol of that experiment.
Review the template from the respective Scientists and BMS US Informatics team.
Testing the template.
Giving training to the scientists before using the template in production environment.
Post implementation support and helping the user to be comfortable with the Biobook
platform.
b) Project Description: BBRC Informatics Operations:

Responsibilities:
Installation/Deployment and support of various scientific softwares like Biobook,
Cambridgesoft ELN, Graphpad Prism, XLfit and in house developed tools.
Administration of user credentials for the Scientific softwares.
Developed excel macros to automate analysis of STV and TQ analysis for Safety
Pharmacology Department.
Automating Experiment analysis and publishing by using an in house developed tool for
Applied Biotechnology department.
In case of any issue, identifying the problem correctly and if necessary working with BMS IT
team and Accenture to resolve the issue.

Develop Software applications/Macro using VBA/Excel for analysis and reporting of
various Biological experiments’ data as suggested by the Scientists and Statistician.
Convert technical and business requirements into adequate IT
solutions for an allocated area of a project or work task.
Has actively worked as a project co ordinator in the modules like Instrument
Management, Compound Management of our internally developed LIMS software and
helped drive the entire Lifecycle of a project from requirements gathering and
documentation, through to implementation, manual testing, training and post delivery
user support.
Conversant with the various tools used in the Preclinical Research domain like Graphpad
Prism, Electronic Laboratory Notebook and Instrument Software for FLIPR, Novostar.
Key Projects:
a) Project Description: The scientists run functional assays in FLIPR in 96 and 384 well plate
formats. The FLIPR generates data as .stat file. This data has to be fed in Graphpad Prism (a Bio
Statistical software) and Statistical parameters and Graphs are generated for the compounds
(arranged in the plate). These calculated data has to be provided to the client in client specified
format.
Responsibilities:
Collected the user requirement from the scientists and statistician and studied the manual
process.
Developed an application fulfilling the purpose by using VBA/Macros and Prism scripting
language.
The application automates the complete flowchart. (i.e. from uploading the machine
generated Raw data to exporting the data to Graphpad Prism and then creating reports in

client specified format).
Provided training to the user and giving constant support if any issue arises or modifying the
application if the requirement changes.
b) Project Description: To create our own internal LIMS software with the help of Silicogene (a
software company under TCG Lifesciences Ltd.), which will have modules like Instrument
management system, Compound Management System, ELN.
Responsibilities:
Acting as a project coordinator representing the Biolab of Chembiotek and took active part in
the requirements gathering process.
Documenting the user requirements and taking approval from the concerned persons.
Testing the application together with our QA person.
Helping the users and properly training them so that they can have a smooth transition from
the manual process to an electronic process.
Acting as a bridge between the scientists and the development team.
