OGDCL (Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd.) Pakistan is the national oil & gas company of Pakistan and the flagship of the country’s E&P sector. As Pakistan’s largest oil & gas producer, OGDCL share in Country’s total oil and gas production stands at 43,437 BPD of Crude oil (Net Averaged), 976 MMCFD of Gas (Net Averaged) and 339 M. T/d of LPG (Net Averaged). OGDCL has network of 35 Oil & Gas Processing Plants in various area of Pakistan. These include Dehydration, LPG, Sulphur Recovery, H2S Removal, Gas Sweetening, Condensate Stabilization, Refining and Compression Plants.

My base location is Qadirpur Gas Processing Plant but Relocation is a part of my job on following major plants of OGDCL for Operations and Technical Assistance within disciplines such as Analysis, Design, support and Configuration management, integration support, training, procedure creation and development of different kind of business processes and plant software.

• Dhodak Gas Condensate Processing Plant. (Gas Dehydration, LPG Recovery & Condensate Fractionation.)

• Dakhni Gas / Condensate Processing Plant. (Gas sweetening through Amine process, LPG, and Sulphur Recovery Unit.)

• Analyzing requests for new functionality and documenting business cases to justify new application investments.

• Made a data model of Web based CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) using SDLC phases, Developed and implemented in LAN/WAN environment using Oracle Application Server at Head Office and various Plants of OGDCL Pakistan. C.M.M.S turns our computer into a control centre for all the maintenance work that we do. With C.M.M.S we have the ability to know what equipment we own and manage, what work is to be done and has been done on this equipment and a variety of information about the trades, spare parts, costs and failures of equipment. Overall, C.M.M.S will help us to make better management decisions on the maintenance work we do. No matter whether we are in the facility, fleet or fixed plant equipment field C.M.M.S will assist us.

• Design, developed and implemented Web based Leave and Attendance Management System for head office and all locations of OGDCL. Web and database server is located at head office and connected to different locations via WAN. Management and end users can view different reports and data input screens for smooth management of manpower resources.

• Installation and configuration of PDMS (Production Data Management System) in OGDCL Head Office and on Various locations which is developed in Avocet Capture 2006.01.20.04 by Schlumberger. We use Citrix MetaFrame server and client for the communication of Avocet Capture. Simplifying we use Avocet Capture for field data collection and analysis for upstream oil and gas gathering and processing facilities.

• Installation and configuration of IBM Lotus Domino 7.0.1 for Client and server at OGDCL head office and on different field in Pakistan.

• Installation, configuration and operation of Primavera P3 ® for Client and Server at OGDCL, Qadirpur Gas Processing Plant.

Maximo Administrator

• Installation, configuration and operation of IBM Maximo 7.1 for Client and server at OGDCL Qadirpur Gas Field.

• Responsible for providing application development, system administration, day to day support services. Also maintain current patch levels, hotfixes, troubleshooting software bugs and end user system issues regarding Maximo at plant.

• Creates and modifies tables and columns in the database using the Database Configuration application.

• Modifies application data fields using the Application Setup.

• Implements electronic auditing and electronic signature security on record changes.

LAN/WAN Administrator.

Installation/commissioning of LAN / WAN consist of Database Server (Oracle 10g), File Server, Mail Server and 150 nodes at different fields of OGDCL. Connect all locations LAN to Head office Islamabad through WAN using Cisco Routers, Bridges etc.

• Administered and provided production DBA support to the several databases of Financial Data Warehouse at various locations of OGDCL.

• Expertise in installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, maintenance, support and enhancements to the Oracle 7.2,8i, 9i, 10g database environments within online business environment.

• Developed the distributed database systems reducing significant load on the databases.

These products include, one Totalflow XRC-6890 Remote Telemetry Unit (RTU) for local–standalone control at each gas well, 1Redundant set of AC800F controllers used as the Central Master Station (CMS) in the Process Control Room (PCR), and 1 redundant set of SCADAVision servers used as the HMI for the SCADA system and is also located in the PCR. Additional equipment and software located at the wellhead and PCR will provide voice and snapshot on demand video images back to the central control room. This equipment will be integrated with the RTU, CMS, HMI and radio system.
