Project Description Interactive Quality Assurance (IQA) performs System Integration Testing (SIT) and Functionality Testing on Web based applications of American Express. We ensure that the quality of the application is met based on the Business requirement. We follow certain AMEX standards and Testing methodologies to incorporate the above mentioned process. Mercury Quality Centre is used to store the test requirements, test scripts, test results and the defects raised during testing process. Test Automation is carried out for almost all the projects using the tool Mercury Quick Test Professional. The automated scripts and their results are stored in QC.

Responsibilities - Reviewing business requirements and creating test strategy / test approach document based on the requirements and the given time line

- Conducting Risk based testing calls with business and clients

- Preparing the test data characteristics

- Creating test conditions document for the identified requirements.

- Creating manual scripts based on the test conditions

- To ensure that above all deliverables are uploaded into QC before beginning of the testing phase

- Testing the requirements functionalities based on the test cases and fixing the raised defects in QC with the help of development team.

- Reporting the status of testing on a daily basis in status calls.

- Creating regression suite using QTP after identifying the feasibility of automation.

- Creating controller and driver automation scripts in QC based on the project

- Creating Test Report and sharing it with clients and business.

- Worked on iMacros to check the feasibility of automating flash objects

- Conducted backend testing for security applications by validating the log files.
