Title: “ PATH PLANNING FOR BLIND PERSON USING ULTRASONICS ”

Description:

The project aims at helping the blind by providing an ULTRASONIC sensor to his stick which determines the range of the obstacle in front of it. This information is sent to the blind with a speaker.

The ULTRASONIC sensor attached to the stick detects the obstacle’s range. This analog information is sent to ADC and then its digital output is sent to the 8 bit microcontroller. The ULTRASONIC sensor is activated only when a control key is pressed. The output of microcontroller is amplified and is sent to the earphone.

Role: Programming of the 8051 microcontroller and Team Leader.
