(Viewpointe is the largest provider of digital check archiving & retrieval services in the United States)

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• Lead a group of three QA technicians through iterations of high volume check image & account software.

• Reduced monthly and weekly reporting by 50% Managed and reported on daily, weekly, & monthly QA metrics status to track past efforts, guided future initiatives & inform upper management about progress.

• Developed solutions to acquire & report metrics in an adhoc style populating a MySQL DB that generated reports using JSP and VBS, this reduced monthly and yearly metric reporting by 50%

• Proposed architectural changes to existing code in Oracle, DB2, Window, UNIX environments by researching Sharepoint documentation and determining best uses-case requirements.

• Prioritized test scenarios based on customer impact, in relation to customer usage, this was derived from analysis of DOORs requirements, which lowered reporting of defects in ETS (Environmental Test System ) cycles by 72%.

• Wrote Perl scripts and JAVA tools facilitating turn around of regression testing cycles 50% faster then previous

• Documented & published training documentation to peers & organization on how to test efficiently & ramp up team members for cross-training on in house software with various tools, this resulted in team members being cross-trained on all application testing tools.

• Planned, requested, built, & maintained NOCs for hardware & software R&D teams to test code in an ISO9000 environment.

• Build Ghost images for Windows and Linux O.S. allowed faster rebuild of hard drives and build up of test systems.

• Increased maintainable of code by 50% from outsourced QA & Development test teams, in efforts to re-assimilate the code back to in house development QA & Development. This was achieved by storing and version controlling the code in Clearcase/ ClearQuest change mgmt tool.
