Data Warehouse Project
As Database Warehouse Architect/Project Manager/Database Developer, responsible for the design and development of multiple data marts within the data warehouse. The Star Schema approach was used to enable faster data access for reporting. This project also involved supporting actuarial, risk, and valuation users with data-related activities. Responsibilities included:
• Designing/implementing the Group Long Term Care Insurance data mart
• Replacing legacy data structures with a Star Schema data mart
• Real-time updates were used for the new data mart which replaced a quarterly update system
