 NIMR C FULL FIELD WATER INJECTION PROJECT (PDO EPC PROJECT).

NATURE OF ASSIGNMENT:

• PDO APPROVED DSS (DUPLEX STAINLESS STEEL) QC INSPECTOR.

• Prepare and Review the Quality Assurance Plan, Work Instruction Procedure for various projects according to Project related technical specification & Governing codes like ASME B31.3, ASME SECTION-IX ,API-1104,ASME B31.8, and PDO (PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT,OMAN) specifications etc.

• Currently working at the DSS (Duplex Stainless Steel) Workshop at NIMR keeping in view all the precautions related to welding of Duplex Stainless steel.

• Prepare and review the Welding Plan accordingly WPS, PQR & WQT as per welding related technical data sheet.

• Select the electrodes & consumable wire as per Welding specification. Review the test certificates.

• Materials identification & maintain its record. Review the manufacturing test certificates & if required carried out the destructive testing for laboratory test result witness.

• Prepare various site procedure qualifications like Sand blasting, Wrapping-Coating, and radiography, UT & LPT etc.

• Prepare the joint wise section charts, section details, joint wise radiography details etc.

• Verification of the inspection reports & giving the feedback to concerned if any discrepancies observed in inspection reports.

• Radiography films interpretation as per applicable codes (like API 1104, B31.3, ASME SEC VIII, etc) & day to day Radiography planning.

• Prepare the hydro test pack as per class specification for piping job.

• Maintain the project status as per inspection reports.

Projects Involved in ESSAR CONSTRUCTION INDIA LIMITED (CLIENT).

 WAS DEPUTED IN CHINA FOR INSPECTION OF FABRICATION OF BLAST-FURNACE AND STEEL MAKING PLANT (SMP).

 SEVERAL IN-PLANT PIPING WORKS WHICH INCLUDE NATURAL GAS LINES, HYDRAULIC LINES, WATER LINES, NITROGEN LINES ETC.WHICH INCLUDE UNDERGROUND & ABOVE GROUND PIPELINES, STRUCTURAL FABRICATION WORKS, ERECTION WORKS ETC..

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• Coordination with Contractors & TPIA (third party inspection agency) for various technical & commercial issues whenever required.

• Involved in quality control department for inspection of various stages fabrication as per approved inspection test plan, related job specification, approved drawing and governing code.

• Taking care of all QA/QC related activities & ensuring that work all the activities should be complete as per approved procedures/ ITP.

• Technical support to planning & Execution Department for smooth execution of the job as per Quality norms.

• Coordination with subcontractors, vendors & other functional organizations.

• Preparation of Monthly Quality Reports and the same convey to Top Management. These all Reports carry information of Quality basis progress, etc for review the better implementation.

• Taking care of projects and maintains the all calibration records. Controlling the welder deployment on job & monitoring the performance & analysis the quality of job.

• Inspection of all project related various brought out item like Piping Fittings & elbows, Machine items etc.

• Stage wise inspection as per Project specific requirements.

• Review the Quality assurance plan & inspection accordingly.
