User Interface Testing

Harvey World provides online traveling services directly to the customers through various dialogs on the website. The purpose of conducting the heuristic evaluation on the Harvey World website is to study the interface design of the website in depth and discover usability problems in compliance with defined heuristic principles. Evaluation process is carried out by interface design specialists and findings will be used to improve the interface design of the website.

Computerization of Sheet Shearing

The main feature of our project was to computerize the sheet shearing technique. A given sheet is sheared into pieces of required size. The approach was to calculate the total number of pieces of same size and the number of pieces that can be sheared into different sizes. Since the project is based on query system, the project was implemented in a user-friendly manner. The main objective of the tool developed was to minimize the scrap that in turn minimizes the cost.

Tools used: Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Studio, MS Access

Medical Expert System

The objective of the project was to illustrate the various biological systems, common diseases and their diagnostic symptoms. The project also describes the various systems like skeletal system, Nervous system and Integumentary system. Each of the above mentioned systems were explained with anatomical pictures and a brief explanation.

Tools used: Visual Basic 6.0, MS Access 7.0

Other projects include banking, Inventory control, Railway reservation, etc., using VB as front-hand and Oracle as backhand tool.
