• Primarily part of 2 client engagements – Texs Instruments and Citrix, both were completely dofferent from each other and yet equally complex and challenging.

• To work onsite from Texas facility in Bangalore and help the company to retain the client as there were nagging issues of the quality of the software delivered since then.

• Responsible to validate Simulators such as Cache simulator, Accurate simulator etc.

• Responsible for Black box testing using different databases such as MS Access, SQL & Oracle9i.

• Validated both core and non-core test modules with German, French, Spanish Languages. Regression testing is being carried out in English.

5. Engineer- Testing and Validation @ INTEL TECHNOLOGIES, June 2002 –June 03

Responsibilities –

• Validation of Simulators, IDE for IXS1000 for VOIP based Processors,

Application Overview: A user friendly GUI is developed for a PODI simulator to simulate VOIP applications. User is allowed to write, compile and debug applications on an object level Debugger using IDE. A single GUI is developed for family of processors namely Laguna and Capistrano to debug on both simulator and silicon.

• Validating and testing the user friendly GUI as well as the functionality of simulator by running benchmark test suites. This involves two kinds of testing

o Random testing : A random testing is one in which random instructions are executed in the simulator to check the instruction execution.

o Non-Random testing: A non-random testing in one in which valid application is executed to get well-defined expected output. .

6. Software Engineer - Testing @ BaE-HAL LIMITED, Dec 2000 –June 2002

BAeHAL Software Ltd. is a joint venture company of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, the largest manufacturer of aircrafts in Asia and BAE Systems, UK, one of the largest Aerospace and Defence companies in the world. By combining domain expertise with core competency of software engineering we provide world-class software services to our customers globally.

Responsibilities –

Primarily worked for clients of BaEHAL – Sextant Avionique and SFIM/SAGEM

Technology Areas: This project was based on C language using UNIX and RS6000.The Software is used for New Electronic display system of aircraft. This system consists of 2 workstations DMC & LCDU. There are 6 LCDU’s which form part of the Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) & Electronic Centralized Aircraft Monitoring (ECAM). There were 3 DMC’s which performs the acquisition of the aircraft data from the A429 Buses & converts to A629 format. Then A629 formatted data is transmitted to the LCDU which acquires & computes the data for display. The display is performed by LCDU.

Client : SFIM/SAGEM – France, Duration : Dec 2000-May 2001

Technology Areas: This project was based on Pascal language using VAX VMS as the OS. This software will be used for Automatic Flight Control System of Advance Light Helicopter - Civil version. The processor used in the system is M68020 and the target testing is done using micro-in-circuit-emulator (MICE).
