Academic Projects:
AUTOMOTIVE REGENERATIVE BRAKING SYSTEM DESIGN (4th year project)
The goal of this project was to achieve ¬Regenerative braking by recouping some of the energy lost while a vehicle is coming to a stop and using that energy to power the vehicle later on.
The scope of work involved attaining A/D conversion & Pulse Width Modulation on selected MOSFET150V 75A transistors and signals generated from ECS-100A signal generator; the goal was achieved by running a 85v Dc motor with a 15v adapter and storing the captured energy in capacitors and using it later on to power the vehicle.
TRANSMISSION SYSTEM DESIGN & ANALYSIS (4th year project)
The goal of this project was to simulate & design a Transmission System with major Power System components such as generators, lines, buses, circuit breakers and transformers, and analyze load flow characteristics under varying system conditions.
