Job Objective: A challenging Product Development/ Research Scientist position in an industrial company that utilizes my problem solving and innovative test developing skills.

Qualifications Overview:

• Molecular Biology: Plasmid, DNA, & RNA Extraction. DNA and RNA quantification using a Nanodrop system. PCR amplification (Real Time and Reverse PCR). Cytogenetics (PNA Probe Hybridization and Imaging).

• Proteomics: SDS Gel Electrophoresis, Protein Quantification, Protein Purification, Enzymatic Assays, Protein Precipitation, and Western Blotting.

1. Developed and designed over 60% of the new advance microbiology testing at E.B.S. The company has 5 new testing techniques offer client’s to troubleshoot issues with wastewater systems.

2. Measured and analyzed cellular health of microbial population using cell respiration assays and fluorescent direct microscope counts.

3. Supervised lab technicians using fluorescent imaging and data compilation.

4. Tested and measured surfactant (anionic, cationic, and non-ionic) concentrations in waste waters.

5. Wrote and submitted detailed reports to clients that analyzed chemical and microscopic evaluations of clients waste water samples using InDesign and Excel software.

6. Wrote ARP “Active Respiring Percentage” Fluorescent Assay, Fluorescent Direct Count, and Nitrifying FISH Probe protocols.

1. Designed and developed protocol that induces novel induction pathway for industrial enzymes in Rhodococcus rhodochrous bacterium. Experiment was co-patented by GSU.

2. Research focus was delaying fruit ripening by inducing target protein in Rhodococcus.
