Used prior knowlege to advance my place in my position at this company, through the time I worked there I was praised for my continued excellence and also for my ideas to help in the efficiency of our jobs. I was a technical support represenative until I was finally promoted to a supervisor position and then was promoted to a level 2 technician. My job responsibilities were to train technicians to handle level 1 work and then I was also responsible for taking escalated calls and taking level 1 calls myself.
We primarily dealt with internet support originally but as time passed we were responsible for learning many different databases through a number of different companies we provided support for, we then became responsible for a number of computer related problems customers would encounter so we were required to learn internet and computer support.
