* Developed and maintained the company's BPAA Marketing Database

system allowing member centers to execute programs to increase

the bowling activity in their centers. System cleaned up the

data by eliminating duplicate bowlers, standardizing and

correcting addresses and executed national marketing programs

designed to increase nation-wide awareness of the sport audits

program.

NETLABS

* Created and maintained the company’s NETLABS system providing

the Local Associations, without access to a computer, alternative

to the WinLabs desktop system for their membership processing.

The goal of the project is to provide the Local Associations,

who are not currently on WinLabs, with the ability to complete their

bowling member functions over the Internet. Technology used was

ASP.NET 1.1 and 2.0, VB.NET(VB 7 and VB 7.1), ADO.NET and Crystal Reports 10.

Crystal Reports for Visual Studio.NET been used to generate reports like

the League roster, League averages etc.

Data from database is filled into an ADO.NET typed dataset. Crystal Reports

then renders the data in the database in a pre-formatted way.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS :

* Provided center operators with a marketing database use to

track activity and to target specific groups for participation

in specific programs. Benefits to the centers include having

continuity of ongoing support and upgrades without need to have

a resident computer expert.

* Eliminated Local Associations dependency on distributed desktop

application by allowing them to have alternative Internet based

system for their membership processing.
