RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
· Supervised projects ranging from 1200-sq ft athletic storage/locker room to 12,000 sq ft public library with 6.25-acre park.
· Directed activities associated with construction of projects up to $3,000,000. Ensured construction met plans, specifications, building codes and quality workmanship. Performed material take-offs, ordered tools and materials to conform to work schedules.
· Negotiated pricing schemes with sub-contractors to ensure work was accomplished within budget limits while maintaining quality workmanship.
· Scheduled and led weekly and impromptu safety meetings. Held preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to ensure all personnel involved understood requirements and expected results.
· Used submittals and project specifications to create Testing Plan and Logs, Rework procedures, Definable features of work lists, Personnel matrixes and Completion inspections.
· Prepared charts and reports to track project accomplishment, training requirements, inspection records and budget requirements.
· Converted unused 4500 square foot mezzanine in 1 SOW Deployment Control Center into Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility for Operations personnel. Added stairs and elevator for occupant use. Communicated daily with base contracting, inspections, intelligence and owner personnel.
· Directed activities to upgrade the HVAC system at the Hobby Shop on local base while it was occupied. Job replaced boiler, AC, chilled and hot water lines and units. New EMCS controls were added and whole system balanced.
· Managed construction of 5000 sq. ft. Pre-Engineered Building for USAF Self-Help Store. Detected several electrical design problems and instituted corrections to meet electrical code requirements. Saved over $5,000 in labor costs by completing building two weeks ahead of schedule.
· Supervised 5-person team to replace PCB electrical equipment. Tracked equipment from initial inventory thru final disposal. Coordinated efforts with base Environmental Engineers and supply personnel. Ensured full EPA compliance while maintaining base electrical distribution system integrity.

· Planned, organized, and directed installation of $500,000 runway lighting system at Baghdad (Iraq) International Airport using 11-person team from various trades. Coordinated certification with US Air Force and FAA teams.
· Supervised shops of up to 25 people to accomplish various military taskings. Jobs ranged from general facility maintenance to construction and renovation of offices, whole building sections, both low and high-voltage distribution systems, and fire/intrusion alarm systems.
