APT is document design and application development all types of financial documents, as well as template designs and hosted applications. It has 30 users, mixed Windows and Linux (SUSE) network. My responsibilities:
• Administrations of Windows 2000/2003 and Linux (SUSE) servers, AD, Exchange 2003, IIS, FTP, VPN, SQL 2000 and MySQL servers administration. Support and maintenance of ACT database. Managed Avaya IP Office phone system. On desktop side – Windows 2000 Pro, XP and MACs.
• Managed SonicWall Firewall, DNS, DHCP, patch management (WSUS), tape backup library with Backup Exec and UltraBac; Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition and GFI AntiSpam products.
• Installed VM server and ran several production VM clients on VMware host.
• Completely redesigned and upgraded network hardware. Moved DNS, DHCP, VPN, MS SQL 2000 server to a new redundant hardware.

East West Mortgage is New England's leading mortgage lender: 320 users, four different locations connected Point-to-Point T1 lines. At this company I managed whole company’s network:
• Deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and support IT infrastructure including servers, PCs, operating systems, WAN/LAN/VPN network, hardware, software and peripherals, WinNT/95/98/2000/2003/XP, and MS Exchange 5.5/2003/Outlook.
• Completely redesigned network (moved from the multidomain model to the single domain), migrated 40 users from Novell to WinNT, relocated the satellite office to a different place (40 users), installed and configured network (servers and desktops), Nortel phone systems. Opened two new offices (60 + 40 users). Researching and implementing a new VoIP phone system from Inter-Tel.
• Installed and configured DNS, DHCP, WINS, and SMS; implemented TCP/IP only on the network. Backup (ARCserve), tape library, cabling, switches, hubs and patches. Supported firewall (Symantec Raptor) with built in VPN, Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition and FatPipe load balancing.
