• Currently working as Project Manager in their Consulting. Have supported multiple projects over the course of my tenure here.
• Led Claims Strategy work for large blues plan.
• Co led technology assessment of Enterprise Architecture for two large blues plans, compiled inventory and came up with a road map.
• Successfully executed a strategy to develop the project management and Project Management Office (PMO) capabilities to a multiyear, multi-phased program. The objective of this effort was to define, develop and implement a PMO framework that will include program management structures, processes and capabilities.
• Successfully delivered Health information exchange project at the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions in Washington DC (headed by independent chairman Tommy Thompson). Major accomplishments include providing research and technology assistance for four white papers focused on Healthcare Interoperability.
• Part of teams which responded to RFI/RFP for

• At Wellcare Healthplans, Tampa, FL, successfully led business analysis from feasibility to completion of requirements gathering for outsourcing claims and EFT to webMD and integrating this functionality into their portal.
• Conducted proof of concept on Diamond claims systems to determine feasibility of outsource claims payment of providers / vendors via electronic funds transfer (EFT) and checks. This involved provider network from seven states across multiple lines of business.
• Worked closely with WebMd to facilitate automated transfer of claims data for processing of checks and EFTs. Developed process for business to send claims information to providers via EDUI as well as via WellCare secured website.
• This strategic outsourcing resulting in huge cost savings to Wellcare besides streamlining the claims payment process.
• Developed extensive business process for several departments affected by this implementation and obtained sign off.
Manager – Accenture LLP, Tampa, FL 2003 - March 2005
• Managed J2EE based complex Rating and underwriting implementation, in software solution factory setting with equitable development based onshore in Detroit and offshore.
• Actively managed multiple phases from initiation to deployment for two and half years (This engagement was taken over by ACN upon acquisition of Selectica’s eInsurance suite).
• Executed on Accenture delivery methodology that utilizes a set of defined value levers measured through a set of metrics.
• Worked closely with business and technical teams to develop requirements for concurrent phases, service level agreements coordinated technical / hardware architecture requirements for three phases, involved in estimating and work planning throughout the SDLC.
• Designed technology and conducted architectural reviews with product and solution architects.
• Tested for all known defects and assured 99.9% closure.
• Dealt with both onshore and offshore testing models, outsourcing and contracting some portions of testing and managing a distributed and cross functional team.
