Partner 2009-2011

Started an internet based company with my Partner Margaret Delay. We successfully took our idea from conception to implementation. We structured our company to run on our internet site, http://e-guidance.org . The purpose of our company was to help middle school and high school aged student and parents with their college search. Focusing on the requirements needed from a high school curriculum. We have 1200 NCAA Colleges and Universities in our data bank. We partnered with a website developer in India to implement our information and to get our site running smoothly. We had a small start-up budget and outsourced our server and hosting site. I handled all the accounting aspects of the business.

I worked directly with First Vice President on a sales team. I was responsible for providing daily rates to Corporate Treasures who manages their companies’ short term cash position. Our book of business focused on the short term investment product, both taxable and tax-exempt for corporate clientele. All investments were 1 million dollar minimum. Settling all maturities in Federal Funds and worked closely with our client’s bank to ensure proper settlements. I corrected all discrepancies as needed and maintained trading records and accounting details as pertaining to rate calculations. I handled account relations as well as new business development, making cold calls to increase our client base.

I relocated to Southlake Texas in September 2006 with my husband Kip Sullivan. We have 3 children ages 24, 21 and 17. Bailey is a recent graduate of Elon University and NC State. Allyn will be a senior at the University of Vermont. Nate will be a senior a Carroll Senior High School.
