Freelance Graphic Layout Artist

Lead Layout Artist worked with high-resolution episode screen grabbing and text layouts for educational Ipad applications for children. Worked with Hasbro and Ruckus Media Group, screen grabbing from TV series such as Transformers Prime, Chuck and Friends, and educational stories for SeaWorld.

- Used a program called MPEG Streamclip for screen grabbing.

- Completed nine stories total.

- Was in constant contact with clients daily via email about the final delivery of the finished product, making revisions to certain screens, as well as meeting strict parameter deadlines.

- Used Photoshop for editing screens: added and subtracted certain elements using vector masks to create better compositions, as well as digitally painted over screens to finalize the look.

- Placed in backgrounds when needed for screenshots that did not encompass the Ipad screen dimensions.

- Created specific stylized text box’s for the text to be placed in for the SeaWorld stories.

Freelance Concept Artist

Was the Lead Concept Artist working with character development and creating illustrations and concepts for Kona's Crate, a game for the Iphone which received over 10 million plays in 24 hours after its release.

- Had to do a research and provide various different drawing styles to be selected for the game.

- Provided different color concepts in order to choose a specific rendering style.

- Designed GUI concepts (Graphic User Interface) to be used within the game.

- Illustrated concept art and finished pieces for different characters, objects, and animals seen within the game (used Photoshop combined with Corel Painter XI)

Freelance Illustrator

Illustrated seven characters to coincide with a developing children’s story by Cydney Weingart.

- Each character was named after an adjective, and their look and personalities were illustrated to match their names (Jovial, Jocular, Courteous, Rambunctious, Meticulous, Melodious, and Flora,(four boys and three girls).

- Book was going to be used to teach children different adjectives, nouns, and descriptions.

Freelance Illustrator

Designed package illustrations/scenes associated with the new Hobbit film using watercolor and colored pencils.

- Provided early thumbnail sketches to decide on a specific layout for the Tea Box.

- Worked on a finished pencil drawing for approval, then had to scale it to fit the dimensions, then proceeded to final watercolor rendering.

- Used Photoshop for touch-ups.

Freelance Illustrator

Designed, illustrated, and rendered “The Moose” mascot for Utica College’s football team in poster form (this piece was to be mass produced and sold at all football related events).
