As the Foreman my principal accountabilities include managing a team of direct reports to include warehouse, shipping & receiving, administrative personnel and heavy equipment operators to ensure that production needs and shipment deadlines are being met on a daily basis.

Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to resolve receiving discrepancies.

Manage material routing and staging for all production areas at a 46-acre manufacturing plant.

Assure safe work environment exists by through weekly safety observations, and by conducting daily and monthly safety meetings. Currently my team has no recordable or lost time injuries. I am a member of the Site Safety Committee.

Report material status at production meetings. Provide complete visibility of inventory through metrics reporting.

Manage the approval and processing of all freight invoices from 3rd party carriers.

Oversee the inventory and ensure appropriate stock levels are kept to meet production needs. Maintain accuracy through cycle counts and wall-to-wall inventories.

Managed the processing of over 3,000 products for shipment and ensured proper information was annotated on packlists and Bills of lading. Managed the traffic for all outbound and inbound freight including oversize and permit loads.

Coordinated with Six Sigma Master Black belt to reduce excess inventory and obsolete material.

Coordinated daily supply of munitions to the flight line, material to the production areas and all movements within the facility.

Annually forecast munitions requirements for upcoming fiscal year.

While managing the Safety Program, I was responsible for overseeing the Explosive Safety Program in accordance with Air Force and Department of Defense safety standards.

In directing the Fleet Program, I was tasked with the scheduling of maintenance and acquisition of all vehicles assigned to my section.

Successfully shipped and received over 40 million dollars worth of assets while maintaining 100% accountability for 30 million dollars of munitions in the stockpile.

Performed daily, quarterly and annual inventories to ensure compliance with Air Force regulations and standards.

Re-warehoused assets in over 50 storage structures. Ensured assets are not in service past expiration date.

Operated forklifts (4K-10K), trucks (1/2 ton-10 ton), and trailers (25ft.-40ft.)

Scheduled maintenance of equipment and explosives and ensured proper storage of all assets according to Air Force regulations.

Performed inspections of all outgoing and incoming assets.

Complied with steady influx of work orders requiring constant multi-tasking by our team.

Performed explosive operations including: pick up, delivery, inspection, assembly and disassembly.
