Document Controller:
Manages & process technical deliverables produced by Clients, Technip, Sub-Contractors and Vendors (includes engineering/technical, correspondence, project management, commercial, legal) to be stored in document management system). Generates and process transmittal of information between Company and Contractor. Records project documentation, work with other Project Document Controllers and liaise with customers as required. Adheres to and issues Document Management Plan (project specific- revise when necessary), also adheres to Client contractual requirements as well as Technip's standard document control procedures. Checks, validates, verify of all documentation, including correct numbering, revisions, status, format, title and legibility. Compilates complete document(s) from multiple sources, monitor project editorial style guidelines, manage, update and provide support on the use of Electronic Data Management System (EDMS) databases with project team, to adhere to and ensure that Technip project procedures are being implemented in the preparation & processing of all deliverables. Rigorously apply and uphold version control, working within tight schedule to issue all deliverables according to EDMS procedures. Management of reviewer comments as they apply to document revisions and incorporate reviewer comments into database system. Coordinate the asset teams on Interface document flow, maintain an active and open line of communication with the various disciplines, vendors & others at all times during the entire issuance & review process. Prepares and issues standard weekly and monthly reports of all produced deliverables, email notices and other correspondence in a timely manner to both Client and Project Management teams. Organizes and manages electronic files/documents via eRoom and Documentum ( if project specific). Maintains and monitors document filing, distribution matrix & distribution of electronic and hardcopy documents. Provides assistance with Document Control Technical Reviews on project. Coordinates and executes the project team database systems training, troubleshoot MS Word and other common IT issues (as needed). Performed other duties this requires good computing skills and a high degree of customer service , that is related to but not limited to document control and record management.
