• Responsible for gathering and editing specifications from NYCDOT Project Engineer for special items such as epoxy grit surface, structural lightweight concrete fill for roadway, concrete filled grid deck system and open roadway grid deck
• Designed and prepared drawings for structural steel repairs of lifting girder ,truss, and stringers using NYSDOT Bridge Manual
• Served as assistant team leader for the in-depth inspection of the machine rooms, piers, abutments, existing grid deck and centering device
• Calculated weight of existing and proposed lift span to compare to weight listed in BRPR
• Responsible for checking colleague’s load ratings of stringers and floorbeams using AASHTO 17th Edition
• Responsible for checking seismic forces in bearings for a 500 year event using the Manual For Condition Evaluation of Highway Bridges
