PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Summary.

iSeries and AS/400 Systems Support

Upgraded software and hardware for multiple different clients, including replacing old AS/400 systems with iSeries, i5 and Power6 systems, performing hardware repairs and upgrades, and converting data. OS Upgrades through V6R1. Wrote custom programs in CL, ILE RPG, ILE C or Java as appropriate for the task. Installed and configured Tomcat Web Application Servers on Mac OSX and iSeries systems. Installed and configured various browser based accesses to iSeries applications, including NET.DATA applications, iSeries Access for the Web, ZendCORE, and Webfacing. Installed hardware and High Availability software for disaster recovery and operational business continuity for customers. Resolved startup and interface problems with MESA and other applications.

Wrote installation, removal and exit programs to trap and record SQL statements, encrypting and forward the resulting information using socket program to remote collection and analysis processor using TCP/IP sockets.

Developed and maintained a Report Distribution System using Synon/2E to route reports to the printers closest to customers, even on other systems.
