PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

AURORA UNIVERITY, Adjunct Faculty (2010 – present)

JOLIET JUNIOR COLLEGE, Adjunct Faculty (2010 – present)

WAUBONSEE COMMUNITY COLLEGE, Adjunct Faculty (2010 – present)

UNIVERSITY OF ST. FRANCIS, Adjunct Faculty (2010 – present)

As Adjunct Faculty at the above-named institutions, I instruct non-science majors and science majors on

three subjects (Astronomy, Physics, Earth Science, and Science Foundations) to assist students in

fulfilling the mandatory science prerequisite in the Business Program and General Education courses.

Instruction includes writing syllabi, creating exams, designing labs and writing homework problems to

educate and challenge the students on the basic concepts of these subjects.

DEPAUL UNIVERSITY, Experimental Researcher (2008 – 2010)

Machined high precision laboratory equipment used for precise experimental measurements. Fine-tuned

extensive applications of high-end laboratory grade equipment such as rheometers, oscilloscopes,

imaging equipment and software, multi-meters, lasers and optics. Formulated and executed a process to

study the effects of relative viscosity on complex fluids by varying different parameters in order to write a

dissertation.

OAKTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE, Physics Laboratory Supervisor (2003 – 2006)

Wrote proposals for a capital budget in order to purchase new and replace outdated equipment.

Constructed several demonstrations to help enlighten important physics concepts (i.e., constructed a

demonstration that used sound waves to break glass). Set up and maintained laboratory equipment used

for Physics I, Physics II, and Modern Physics.

EASTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY, Intramural Recreation Supervisor (1998 to 2002)

Successfully enforced all rules and regulations in order to maintain a safe environment for intramural

participants and officials. Trained students on the rules and procedures for officiating various sports.

Wrote guidelines, rules, and procedures for various sports to better suit the facility and program.
