Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responds to all customers with a sense of urgency and professionalism.

2. Accurately diagnose quality lab measuring and inspection equipment problems, suggest appropriate solutions, implement resolution activities and confirm continued effectiveness of repair.

3. Assist with planning, ordering and the acceptance of new equipment.

4. Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on new and existing gauge equipment.

5. Performs acceptance studies for new and repaired equipment.

6. Develop, revise, and maintain spare parts lists of metallurgical lab equipment.

7. Order replacement parts for metallurgical lab equipment.

8. Development and monitoring of material test equipment and test programs.

9. Development and monitoring of material test work instructions.

10. Perform heat treatment audits and corrective action plan follow-up at supplier facility, as applicable, in support of Supplier Quality.

11. Performs and dispositions material tests for new prototypes, production launch, and raw material incoming inspection.
