Summary of Key Projects

Pearson (November 2006- June 2007)

This project was completed in a team of three persons including me. The overall objective of the project was to design multiple running frames using Macromedia Flash and XML based on the client interface. As a team-leader of the project, my role was to lead the design and content development of various lessons, where each lesson involved 25 to 30 frames. Apart from leading the team, I also used to co-ordinate with the client for their regular feedbacks through on-site as well as off-site client interactions and then implement those feedbacks for the continuous modification of the design and content for the complete client satisfaction. One of my roles in the project was to manage the project and give a regular update to the upper management about the progress and status of the project in a formal and informal manner. This project was completed on time and in fact, the client was so satisfied with the overall project that they came back to Sterco again for their next project.

VCampus Corporation (January 2007- March 2007)

In this project, I was developing various e-Learning modules based on client’s requirements. The overall objective of the project was to develop an e-Learning package showing the manufacturing process in modern global economy. These modules involved extensive 2-D illustrations and content development involving Macromedia Flash. All the elements of these modules were developed based on the client storyboard and I led the project from visualization to animation based on the storyboard. Given the complexities involved in the project and very rigid expectations of the client, the content development required lot of challenging constraints like real colors without increasing the maximum file size. Overcoming these constraints required novel ideas and design aptitude, which were challenging but satisfactorily implemented. Overall the project was successfully completed on time to the fullest client satisfaction.

Cosmopolitan India (September 2008-March 2009, Independent contractor)

In this project, I worked on multiple projects in a cross functional team of designers and marketing team to create marketing materials, advertisements, web banners and trade show materials. In this project, I gained valuable conceptual, problem-solving, design, illustration, technical and communication skills which were required for the job. I also gained an ability to articulate thoughts, illustrate ideas, and prepare concept drawings in traditional as well as electronic media.
