LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN (June, 2007 – October, 2010)
Managed HVAC, electrical, piping, fire protection, and subcontractors on $225 million, 613,000-SF state-of-the-art children’s hospital including 230 new patient beds, new ED, comprehensive diagnostics and treatment areas, preoperative services, ambulatory clinics and support functions. The grounds incorporate a new helipad, 490-car parking structure and new central plant to support the campus. Work also includes renovations of 160,000-SF and the demolition of vacated existing building areas.

Raleigh Convention Center, Raleigh, NC (January, 2005 – June, 2007)
Supervised all mechanical and electrical subcontractors on $169.2 million, 500,000-SF downtown convention center for the City of Raleigh. This project included a 150,000-SF exhibit hall, a 32,000-SF main ballroom, 30,000-SF of meeting rooms, and is expected to receive LEED Silver Certification.

Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Pearl River, NY (December, 2003 - January,2005)
I managed and scheduled installation for all pharmaceutical equipment on $14 million, upgrade of the Building 100 Complex HVAC system for Wyeth Research/Lederle. This upgrade improved cGMP compliance, system reliability, system balance, and conserved energy.

Wyeth Pharmaceuticals World Headquarters, Collegeville, PA
(December, 2002 – December, 2003)
$217.5 million, 720,000-SF project which expanded the corporate headquarters on 320 acres, consisting of four new buildings, renovation of existing facilities and utilities, a campus roadway system and bridge, and off-site highway improvements. The building consists of a common spine connecting one executive building, two office/administration buildings, and a commons/amenities building. In addition, a 1,160-car, three-level pre-cast parking structure was built, and 1,000 new on-grade parking spaces were provided. The new facility houses 2,000 relocated Wyeth employees.

Pfizer, Ann Arbor, MI (July, 2001-December, 2002)
Coordinated the change out and retro-fit of the existing boiler economizer at the Central Utility Plant. Responsibilities included planning, scheduling and supervising local trades such as piping, electrical, structural steel, instrumentation, and controls. The project was completed within budget and schedule and the incident rate was zero accidents.

$12 million project involving water systems, drying equipment, lab, and warehouse. Role: Field Superintendent
D & Z/Life Sciences Merck & Co., West Point, (March,1994 – November, 1997)
$155 million construction of the biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Responsible for supervising subcontractors and installing process equipment, lab, and process piping with 7,800 sanitary welds and HVAC-related equipment.

Merck & Co., Arecibo, PR (November, 1992 – March, 1994)
$120 million, pharmaceutical manufacturing finishing facility consisting of several projects with multiple end dates on a fast-track schedule. Projects ranged from $5 million to $30 million and included the installation of five confidential process modules with 6,500 sanitary welds. Also included were associated utilities, AHU duct work, control systems, lighting, and foundations for equipment, structural steel platforms and pharmaceutical equipment.

Responsible for supervising the$100 million, pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging facility, including revamp of the existing biopharmaceutical building to new research, development and manufacturing areas. Also, managed the demolition and upgrade of the building lab areas on the 95,000-SF facility with 3,500 sanitary welds. Supervised the installation of HVAC-related equipment and building automation systems to class 100 clean room production areas.

This project involved the installation of HVAC and lab piping within pharmaceutical laboratories. Responsible for planning and coordinating the installation of process lab, utility piping, HVAC-related equipment, and ductwork for 3 buildings totaling 151,000-SF.

$400 million construction of the fossil fuel powerhouse in Afshin, Turkey that consisted of 4,100 megawatt turbine generators.

Arco, Sundra Straits, Indonesia
Responsible for inspection of work by U.S. vendors and subcontractors supplying equipment for the construction of the offshore NGL Project. Equipment included major components such as compressor modules, dehydration, and cooler modules for turbine generator building. Control room and other related mechanical equipment followed components to job location in Sundra Straits to inspect and maintain quality control.
