MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Challenge: Automotive OEM needed to develop all new entry to hit “sweet spot” of new segment of market (cross-over).
Solution: Directed product architecture and theme evaluation research/analysis for new product entry. Result: 1st and 2nd generation product became segment leader that required adding 3rd production shift to meet demand.
Challenge: Automotive OEM with no existing entries in an emerging global segment of market.
Solution: Conducted portfolio assessment to leverage current platforms into multiple regions where product footprint could expand. Led exploration of new product entries that addressed converging trends. Result: proposal to enter three new global regions and increase North American presence. Business case was viable based on combined volume of all entries on single architecture.
Challenge: Fortune 100 auto company formed cross-functional task force to explore ways to become more consumer driven and engage customers.
Solution: Authored proposal for first advanced design social media web site for consumer insights on concept ideas. Member of core team that designed web/blog site (launched in 2009).
