• Improved fillet roll process reducing failures in fatigue testing of fasteners, worked on fixing hot salt process discoloration problem in fasteners
United Water, El Segundo, CA Feb. 2005 – Jun. 2005
Engineering Intern
• Collected data contributing to maintenance and replacement of various reverse osmosis membranes and microfiltration filters
PROJECT EXPERIENCE:
UCLA Graduate Thesis: RFID Based Automated Entry System
• Designed and created a Keyless Entry system from conception to breadboard prototype to be applied to a hotel door lock that would detect touch, and in presence of RFID based key, automatically unlock.
• Employed Atmel 8-bit microcontrollers, RF Transceivers, LF transmitters and receivers, and touch sensors.
• Responsibilities included selection of parts, integration of systems, power consumption reduction, coding in C, documentation and presentation.
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
Dr. Ajit Mal, UCLA Jun. 2006 - Dec. 2006
