Presentation of Qualifications
James F Stapleton, Jr.
Decatur TX 76234
Dear Sirs,
I am writing this brief synopsis to describe me.
I have never met a stranger; these are just friends I haven’t met yet. I am an extrovert, comfortable in large crowds or one on one. I am a results oriented leader. There is a fine line between praise and criticism, the challenge is to incorporate both into the same conversation.
I keep an open dialogue with the project manager regarding scheduling, deadlines, design and changes to original plans. Communication is the key to a successful completion.
I have been fortunate in my life to have developed lasting relationships with career professionals in the construction industry. These relationships have allowed me access to years of experience and knowledge that I have eagerly taken advantage of.
I enjoy challenges and am comfortable in many different environments. I have worked across the southwest, Louisiana and the Midwest. I have had the unique experience of being a sub contractor in the construction industry for a number of years allowing me the opportunity to better understand the needs of the builder as well as the sub contractor. This knowledge has allowed me to better coordinate schedules with all parties involved.
I have seen the best and worst management skills that building superintendents have to offer. I know what works and what doesn’t. I am very fortunate to have had this experience. I can deal with sub contractor field personnel in a positive manner tailoring my requests in such a way to achieve the result I want, in the time frame I want.
I recently had the opportunity to be part of a construction management team that built 3 different 4 story wrap around apt. properties complete with 5 story garages. This was a learning experience on many different levels.
I want to thank you for your time in reviewing my resume and look forward to discussing any questions you may have regarding my employment.
Thank You,
James Stapleton, Jr.
