Provide information, assistance, and emotional support to victims of domestic/intimate partner abuse in obtaining protective orders in Court 21, Conduct comprehensive assessment of needs and make appropriate referrals to community resources, Assess dangerousness and develop safety plan with victims, Help clients to identify characteristics of healthy relationships as well as warning signs of potentially abusive relationships, Provide court accompaniment and follow-up to protective order proceedings, Serve as a liaison to Court 21 staff, ICADV legal counsel, and other social services providers, Assist Court 21 Intake staff with protective order petition preparation, Provide referrals to the legal component of the Protective Order Pro Bono Project based upon guidelines, Maintain accurate and complete records of client contacts and referrals, Maintain statistical data for grant reporting and submit to supervisor on monthly basis, Work in partnership with other coalition staff, member programs, and others to meet the mission of the ICADV, provide empathy, support and respect to victims of domestic/intimate partner violence, work in high pressure fast paced environment, speak fluent Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, conduct interviews with victims of domestic/intimate partner abuse, adaptable to multiple work settings.
