RESPONSIBILITIES: Served as the principal communication link between the headquarters in N.Y. and the Dominican operation. Supervised the accounting, purchasing, systems & transportation departments, which serviced three factories with approximately 1,000 employees.
Implemented & designed a computerized payroll system for over 200 employees. Devised and structured a more accurate, departmentalized system for the recording and allocation of expenses, along with procedures and policies.
Coordinated and scheduled the production and export activity between the main office in New York and the three production factories in the Dominican Republic; including control of raw materials from actual production through export.
