Objective
I am looking for a challenging and enjoyable career that has room for growth and advancement.
Experience
The iDoctors August 2011- Present
At the iDoctors, I am a technician.
I fix iPhones and iPods, and help customers with questions regarding using their devices.
I also help sell cases and other accessories that we sell.
I also fix small issues with computers, such as changing RAM and Hard Drives, and installing operating systems. All of the computers I fix are Macs.
Apple, Inc October 2009-Januaury 2011
At Apple, Inc, I was a Full Time Specialist.
My job responsibilities included informing customers’ about the products, selling the products and resolving customer issues.
I was also a technician. I was a troubleshooter and fixed small devices, such as iPods and iPhones. This helped me to develop my customer service skills, as many of the customers were at first very frustrated. It was my responsibility to repair the relationship and help them to regain their faith in the company.
I was also a mentor. My responsibilities included interviewing, selecting, and training new employees, and monitoring and encouraging the development of current employees. If the employees did not perform to certain standards, I was held accountable.
My sales numbers were consistently top notch, and I avidly sold AppleCare, One to One, and Mobile Me. My goal was to get the customer the best solution possible for their needs.
Borders, Inc June 2009-October 2009
At Borders, I was a Café Seller.
I made drinks, and helped trained new baristas when they were hired.
I also helped customers locate books, and helped the pick books that they may want to read or need to study.
Victoria’s Secret March 2009-August 2009
At Victoria’s Secret I was a sales associate.
My main responsibility was greeting customers as they came into the store, and directing them to the part of the store where they could find the merchandise they were looking for.
Perhaps my favorite part of my job there was hosting “onboarding” sessions, where new employees were introduced to the brand and trained. I also participated in on the floor training, and had many new employees shadow me as I worked.
Oschner Health System May 2006-August 2006
I was a volunteer. I worked on the 9th floor and assisted the clerks.
I helped process admits, send files and answer the phone. I also made admit kits and visited with the patients.
Education
Dutchtown High School August 2004-May 2008
I graduated high school with distinguished honors and a 3.7 GPA and scored a 27 on my ACT. I was an officer in the National Honor Society and participated in Beta club, Choir and Color Guard. I was also a part of the Allied Health Honors program, a program for students planning on going in to the medical field.
Southeastern Louisiana University August 2008- May 2010
I studied for my degree in Special Education and Science Education. I love working with people and enjoy my classes. I maintained a 3.0 GPA and was on the President’s List for 3 semesters. I was on a full honor scholarship. In addition to my classes, I went into the schools and taught students. This was a very rewarding experience.
Skills
I work very well with others and enjoy problem solving. I am certified in Microsoft Office. I love a challenge and enjoy working hard and achieving results. When a problem arises I work very hard to solve it. I love working alongside others, as well as on my own. I am never afraid to ask for help when I need it. I believe that instead of trying to figure out something on my own and doing it incorrectly, seeking the help I need and finishing the job is the best solution. I am a very fast learner, and usually only need to be shown how to complete a task once.
