Project: A HYBRID MODEL OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES FOR REMOTE VILLAGES-2011 (Group Project)

• Project Scenario: The main advantage of our project is to supply the power to Remote villages using the Renewable energy sources such as wind and solar. It is extremely difficult to extend high-tension transmission lines to these areas as some of the places are separated from the mainland and from each other by wide rivers, creeks and hills.

In our project, renewable energy is considered to be the right choice for providing clean energy to these remote settlements. The design of hybrid wind-photovoltaic power system is developed in our project for remote village electrification .A DC-DC converter design provides 12 volt supply, which is stored in the external source for constant supply to remote village in our project. The excess energy from the hybrid sources is diverted in our project for future application.

• Technologies used: KEIL SOFTWARE.

• Applications:

Power Generation for Remote villages using the Renewable energy sources such as wind and solar. .

It doesn’t cause the environmental; it is freely available in nature.
