2007-08 Apprentice Electrical Engineer- R&D JYOTI LTD., Vadodara, India

JYOTI LTD. is an ISO-9001 company. It is one of the leading manufacturers in India for Rotating Electrical Machine i.e. HT & LT Motors, Generators, Pumps, Hydro Turbine, Submersible Pumps, Switchgears etc from last 60 yrs.

Working as an Apprentice Electrical Engineer my duties and responsibilities were as under:

• Responding to the enquiries coming for new project and provide cost estimation and technical specification for the Rotating Electrical Machines that meet client’s specifications.

• Testing of the incoming material for manufacturing of Electrical Machines like insulating materials, wires, conductors etc. according to International Standards and provide reports for the same within given period, for uninterrupted manufacturing.

• Schedule the testing of Electrical Machine performance including the Open Circuit Test and Short Circuit Test for Generators and analyze the final test reports to fulfill the client requirement maintaining standards.

• To coordinate with other departments regarding progress of the Project and provide necessary technical assistant when needed.

• To analyze the machine performance on the software purchased by the company called MAGNET which was the product of Infolytica. This software was based on Finite Element Method (FEM).
