PROJECT ENGINEER :

I am working as Project Engineer in Supply chain Business solutions for two project of ENGRO FOODS Ltd (IRPC & Omoré). My responsibilities during this period were as follow:

Integrated Rice Processing Complex Project (EFSL):

Duties:

• I have expertise in supervising personnel, conducting design reviews, establishing schedules, maintaining budgets, and creating contingency plans.

• Design the Mill layout as per process and operation requirements and Supervision of all activates in project related to mechanical works.

• Review the equipment and process design as per required detail of process.

• Establish and responsibility for project communication with clients and sub-contractors.

• Preparation PEB (Pre-Engineering Building) design as per required parameters and building detail.

• Ensured that all site works done according to all applicable quality standards.

Omoré Ice-Cream Plant (EFL):

Completed Omoré Ice-Cream Plant Installation, 1st expansion and 2nd expansion of Plant is going on.

Duties:

• Do Making RFQ (Request for quote) for different material and areas. Then collect the quotes from suppliers, finalize the design of equipments, and process with suppliers on engineering standard basis. Review design, contract documents and make comparison for bidding.

• Set the Capex sheet of complete project as per budgeting and forecasting. Also, set the time lines of project schedules. Set priorities; allocate tasks, and co-ordinate with project staff.

• Deal with Contractors and help to solve their problems related to design and supply of material. Manage the activities of external contractors to ensure they are integrating into the project.

• Conducted fitness-for-service assessments and coordinated external engineering supports (Contractors and suppliers).

• Cost Estimation as per requirements of different equipments (Piping and their assembly, filling Machines, Line equipments, etc.) & Different material (e.g. piping, sheets, structures, tanks) estimation B.O.Qs as per their design requirement.

• Fabrication Erection of Piping, PU Panels, Cold Store, Structures and Equipments and ensure that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings and project specifications.

• Review the design of tanks as per requirement calculates their volume and checks their quality during fabrication.

• Preparation of Piping plans, Isometrics their roots according to P & IDs and Process flow.

• Assist, supervision, support the client, supplier and contractors at site for installation of equipments as per design, and finalize parameters.

• Take responsibility for the erection and installation of various processes piping in the main pipe rack and execute all activities at site under my responsibilities.

• Assist and support commissioning of Air compressor & dryer, Air purger, screw compressors, Evaporator condensers, Ammonia vessels and hygienic equipment machines (HVAC and Refrigeration System, Packing machines, Filling Lines Rollo, SL, NTFE & Scanima Hardening tunnels, Fruit Feeders etc.).

• Complete design review of the pre-engineering building and support the civil side related engineering problem if any.

• Complete project goals and monitored status while being aware of overall program goals, Schedule and execution of jobs based on priorities and troubleshoot the problems that arise in the plant initial and ongoing operations.

4B Group Pakistan:

I have worked a short-term project to control inventory and 5S implementation at plant site.

Duties:

• Prepare plant Layout, Isometrics and process flow diagrams at plant site.

• Prepare existing inventory control system and provide suggestions for improve the process. Also, provide them JD’s for different areas.

• Give the training about 5S and implement at plant sit.

I have worked on different feasibility reports (Meat processing Plant, Soap Manufacturing Plant, Shampoo Manufacturing Plant, Rice Brawn Oil).

Assistant Engineer

Working as an Assistant Engineer (Project) in wall’s ice cream Factory (Unilever Pakistan), from January 2007 to April 2008.

During my job, I performed the following duties:

• Development and Preparation of shop drawings & as built drawings for civil and mechanical piping works.

• Finalize the piping roots and develop their Isometric drawings as per decided root.

• B.O.Qs of different material as per finalize drawing (structures, piping, Tanks, sheets).

• Development and drafting of isometric as well as the schematic drawings for MEP/Civil work.

• Support the contractors at site for understating the drawings and design.

• Supervision of mechanical and civil work was also included in my duty.

Quality Inspector

As a quality inspector, I performed my duties in Hi-Tek Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd, from December 2005 to December 2006.

My responsibilities were following:

• Development and preparation of shop drawing & as built drawings for mechanical and fabrication works. Moreover, during fabrication check the fabrication quality of cylinder and Pressure vessels.

• Development and drafting of isometric drawings as well the schematic for MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing)

• Development and preparation of BOQ as per shop & isometric drawings for mechanical and fabrication work.

• Development of sheets as per Vessel, Cylinder drawings for welding and fabrication work.

Trainings:

• I worked as a Trainee Production Supervisor in “Century Paper and Board Mills” at Box Plant. (3 Months)

• I worked as a Trainee Quality Inspector in “Albadar Engineering Company (Pvt.) Ltd.” at Brake Pedal section. (2 Months)
